UNESCO Heritage sites

The five UNESCO World Heritage Sites , Pride of Tamil Nadu ,stands for architectural excellence and structural beauties  of Dravidian style and depicts the importance given for this construction by the rulers of the historical era. Each monument has a unique story . Every  traveler will have one or more of these places in their wishlist. Mahabalipuram Rock cut temples are built by pallavas , where Gangaikondacholapuram, Darasuram, and Tanjore Brihadeeswarar temples are built by Cholas. Nilgiri Mountain Railway was built by the British.
