Gudiyam caves: Gudiyam caves is situated 60kms away from Chennai. We have to trek 5 kms uphill and a huge cave on top of the hill can be found.This is a place used by paleolithic men.It is also an archeological marvel and a stone age site.

Ooty : In Ooty,  there are special routes both for beginners and professional trekkers. According to the difficulty level, trekking routes can be selected.  Trekking at Glenmorgan village, 25 kms from Ooty,  is one of the best and enthralling trekking trails in Nilgiris. Dense eucalyptus trees covered with scenic beauties and viewpoints will never make you feel tired. Even a beginner can take up this without much difficulty.

Masinagudi, a village in the foothills of Nilgiris near Ooty has everything for the adventurist like Trekking path, nature walk , wildlife safari and an visit  elephant camps also.

Yercaud: Known as trekkers paradise , trekking along coffee plantations and fruit bearing trees will give a pleasant experience to the trekkers.

Yelagiri:  Yelagiri is the best place  for adventure seekers in Tamilnadu. 3Km trek route to uphill Swamimalai is the famous trekking trail. Apart from trekking,  Rock climbing, Paragliding also can be done . Pleasant climate and green patches adds amazing experience to the venturists.  .

Kodaikanal : Kodaikanal to Berijam is the short trail for easy trekking and Periakulam , Adukkam upto  Kodaikanal is the long and tough trail of 18 kms  for professional trekkers
