Thyagaraja Aradhana

Thiruvaiyaru Music festival (Thyagaraja aradhana) is celebrated in Thiruvaiyaru near Thanjavur. This is celebrated on the occasion of Samadhi day of Saint, composer Thyagaraja in the month of January every year. Many musicians assemble here and perform . This is one of the largest Music festivals in the world. Many music lovers visit and take part in these celebrations. On Panchami day, lakhs of musicians and artists play in one stage and render kritis, songs of Thyagaraja.
